A NEW NEW YORK

Well, it’s official.

Sarah has landed in the big apple.

And yes, it may sound cheesy {even for us}, but I feel like I can breathe again.

She was the one person by my side through everything last year, simply due to pure physical proximity. The girl didn’t have a choice. But regardless, we have lived out some of the best and most tragic of moments together.

And now we are yet again, living in the same city.

Better yet, the same neighborhood.

That’s right, this girl is moving to Brooklyn.

So Sarah,

WELCOME TO NEW YORK!

I look forward to the countless conversations over a bottle of wine, the awkward {yet always entertaining} memories, and endless hours of laughter.

I’m thankful for the forces that brought us together in London. And I can only appreciate the events that have taken place to bring us back together in a new city.

Life has a funny way of giving you exactly what you need, at the exact time you need it.

This was never a plan we conjured up. We didn’t decide one day to go all ‘Sex in the City’ on everyone. Well, not formally. You could have told us this time last year that we would both be living in New York and we would have scoffed at the idea; if only in our dreams. Apparently, we have both always wanted to live in the concrete jungle. Great minds think alike.

But our paths were both leading down alternate routes. Until we both got a little lost. The good kind of lost. The kind the challenges you. And forces you to make decisions. Big ones. Big, life altering decisions.

And suddenly, here we are. Both in New York. Throwing caution to the wind and taking a chance. Another chance.

There is no shortage of energy, ambition, or lady balls when it comes to the two of us. And that’s the greatest part of our friendship.

From London to Paris and finally, New York City.

I can’t wait to continue to take on the world with you sistaaa.
