BYE BYE WINTER, BUT FIRST

Let me wear my camels and dark browns one last time.

Happy first day of March! As February comes to an end and Spring is quickly approaching, or so I hope, it means bye-bye to all things Winter. I mean, it’s March now. Not that I am anxiously awaiting a warm spell to come over the entirety of England or anything, but at least someone should start thinking about it.

But alas, I now live here in London. Where Winter takes on an entire different meaning. Let’s be honest Winter is going nowhere, but this is my attempt at wishful thinking.

Looking forward, I have many adventures on the radar this month.

I am slowly getting in touch with all of my friends and family in the network I conveniently stole from my mother. Thanks mom! This means upcoming weekend trips to Bath, Manchester, and many more. Dates are being exchanged and plans are falling into place.

And then, of course, the long Easter weekend. After having to politely decline an invitation to Ireland because of new trust issues I have now developed with immigration, I am planning on staying local. Or at least local to the United Kingdom. I am off to Scotland! Once I book my train ticket…

And I have a travel companion thanks to Sarah. I am highly anticipating this adventure and will follow up the trip with many blog posts. And an endless amount of photos. If you’ve laid eyes on a picture of the Scottish countryside you will understand. Snap happiness at its fullest potential.

And finally, I am joining the quarter century club in Bali, Indonesia come April 2nd! This is an extra special trip as I will be welcomed at the airport by the love of my life. I’m lucky to have someone in my life as spontaneous about travel and life as I am. Seems routine now for each of us to pack a bag in whatever country we may be residing in at for the time being, and purchase a flight halfway around the world to spend a little time together. Ah, love.

If you have any suggestions or must-sees for Scotland, please leave in the comments below!
